Branding Case Studies
INfields
The Project Brief
INfields is a short-lived non-profit in Battle Ground, IN. I was approached to create a brand identity, build the website, create sales presentations, and be the Project Manager for the organization.
The purpose of the organization was to promote Rural Tourism within 30 miles from Lafayette, IN.
There are hidden gems tucked within the small towns and corn fields.
The inspiration for the look and feel of the brand came from driving through the country. The colors are all seen in the Indiana seasons. The landscape of old rustic barns is a reminder of a time gone by when travelers would document their travels in journals. The travelers would write and sketch their experiences.
Sumac Studios
The Project Brief
The client is a photographer and quilter and is building a business out of her hobbies. She documents her travels with her photography then designs quilts from the photos.
She needed to expand her brand into two additional sub-brands. Her personal style is clean and straight-forward.
The name came from a the sumac trees on the family farm, and the colors were inspired by nature from her travels.
She also requested a deck template be included in her kit.
The Grayist
The Project Brief
A good friend of mine joined forces during the pandemic to create a side hustle. We created a marketplace website for independent artists.
The logo was created by a small Cincinnati branding agency and I created the style guide and the power point template.
The name came the notion that art is not black or white, but rather exists in the shades of gray.
Once life went back to normal, we shut down the site. We only had three artists at the time. It was time well spent to learning how to create a marketplace website.
